Description
Unisex Endangered Ethiopian Wolf T-shirt
Saving the Ethiopian wolf isn’t howling at the moon.
Cute and curious, these canines can be counted among some of the most captivating creatures on the planet — and some of the most endangered too. In fact, Ethiopian wolves are the most threatened canid on the planet, not a title they wear proudly. Their population is dwindling, and they need our help to stop them from becoming extinct.
If you want to help save these fascinating creatures in style, look no further. When you buy your very own organic tee featuring a unique geometric Ethiopian wolf print, we’ll donate 50% of the proceeds to the Born Free Foundation.
Order before 2pm GMT for same-day dispatch.
We nearly lost them once, let’s not make the same mistake again.
There are less than 500 Ethiopian wolves in the wild, a staggeringly tiny figure that is a real cause for concern. Rampant disease and agricultural expansion is making the extinction of these animals a very real possibility indeed. That’s why we at BEAST.Boutique are donating 50% of the profits from this T-shirt to conservation charities working to protect endangered animals.

Bright and curious, one look at the Ethiopian Wolf is enough to make even the steeliest of hearts melt. But aside from being insanely cute, the Ethiopian wolf is also very important to Ethiopia. They were first identified as needing protection as far back as 1938, although they only received such care in 1974. Even then, their population has been decimated by agriculture, disease, and of course, human interference.
Facts for your friends
- The Ethiopian wolf is the only species of wolf to be found in Africa, making it something of a VIP!
- The earliest written record of the Ethiopian wolf dates from the 3rd century AD by Solinus, who said: “Ethiopia produces wolves with manes, so diversely coloured, men say, that no hue is lacking.”
- While they tend to live in packs of as many as 15 others, Ethiopian wolves are rare in that they hunt alone, making them the original lone wolf!
- Ethiopian wolves are often mistaken for foxes or jackals due to their sleek, agile appearance.
